Your Wedding Cake

Step by Step

1. Book Your Wedding Consultation

When you contact us, we will check our availability for your wedding date and also ensure that we are the right fit for your wedding cake. If we are available, then we can book you for a wedding consultation. Our wedding consultations are currently free and they last about 30 – 40 minutes. Currently, all our wedding consultations are held via video conference.

At the consultation, we will discuss all the details of your day from the cake flavours to how the cake will be displayed in the reception. I love to hear all about your feelings for your wedding day and what you imagine your wedding cake would look like. It is useful if you bring ideas with you in the form of your Pinterest board, some wedding cake pictures, palettes, colours etc. to the consultation. These are great ways to help us get a feel of how you want your wedding day.

After the consultation, I will sketch up a cake design that captures your ideas and our discussions. I will send the sketch over to you including a detailed design proposal to review and confirm. Then, an accurate quote for the wedding cake will be provided to you. As a guide, our wedding cakes prices start from £250.

Our cake tasting boxes contain a variety of 3 and 5 different flavours of cakes ranging from our curation of cake flavour. Our cake tasting boxes are usually available for order on a monthly basis. Please check here for more information.

2. Book Your Wedding Date

After the wedding consultation, you can book your wedding date by paying the booking fee of £100. The booking fee is to secure your date and this fee is non-refundable or transferrable. The booking fee is inclusive of the total quoted price. Our Terms and Conditions should be read fully before proceeding to secure your date. The balance will be due 1 calendar month before your wedding date.

3. Bringing your Dream to Life

This is where we bring your dream to life. We use the finest ingredients to make our cakes and all our cakes are hand-crafted. As a base, all our cakes are baked using fresh milk, free-range eggs, butter, and flour. For our fondant covered cakes, they are covered with chocolate ganache for a firm structure, then covered in fondant and decorated.

4. Delivery and Setup

Ahead of time, we will arrange with you when we can deliver the wedding cake to the venue. We will plan to deliver the cake ahead of the reception party on the wedding day. We will set up the cake for you at the reception hall – ensure that a wedding cake table is available and also a wedding cake stand. Please note that we rent out wedding cake stands. Our delivery and setup are free for wedding cakes over £300.
